What Does Dermaplaning Do for the Skin?

Dermaplaning is a unique blend of a manual exfoliation of the skin and vellus (peach fuzz) hair removal. This superficial exfoliation stimulates cellular turnover, similar to the level of exfoliation from Microdermabrasion. Dermaplaning is very gentle and does not cause inflammation or disrupt the delicate pH balance of the skin leaving it smooth, radiant and refreshed. Dermaplaning also increases the efficacy and penetration of topical ingredients, even more so when combined with a microdermabrasion treatment and/or a light chemical peel.

How It Works

Dermaplaning uses a gentle blade to help manually remove the layers of rough, dull and damaged skin, instantly. This treatment also whisks away unwanted facial hair that sits above the epidermis. This hair returns slowly and naturally within a few weeks. Dermaplaning does not cause additional hair growth.

Treatment

Skin Refining Micro Peel: a unique combination of dermaplaning and a light chemical peel to improve skin texture, diminish fine lines and wrinkles, and revitalize sensitive skin. This treatment is gentle and does not require any downtime.
