Forever Bare Experience
Forever Bare – Laser Hair Removal Experience
Forever Bare uses light to target the melanin that lies in the hair follicle’s growth centers. From there, the light converts to heat to destroy the follicle at the source. Without its growth center, hair follicles can no longer grow in the treatment area(s).
No matter which device or provider you choose, multiple laser hair removal treatments are required simply because the treatment targets the active phase of the hair growth cycle. When hair is in the resting (telogen) phase, it can’t properly absorb light or generate enough heat to cause damage to the growth center.
As long as you follow your customized laser hair removal plan from your provider, you’ll enjoy long-lasting results. Believe it or not, laser hair removal is effective in eliminating 80 to 90% of hair within the treated areas. Even if you notice hair growing back, it is typically finer and less noticeable than it was before. For most people, that means there is no longer a need for daily shaving or even monthly waxing to achieve the ultimate silky smooth look. Laser hair removal is safe for most skin tones and hair textures.
What does BBL hair removal feel like?
Forever BARE BBL™ is one of the most comfortable laser hair removal treatments on the market. During the procedure, the Forever Bare handpiece produces a warming, “prickly” sensation that most patients report as being quite comfortable, even without the use of a numbing agent. The warmth subsides within about an hour after treatment.
Does a Forever BARE BBL™ treatment include some of the other benefits of BBL?
In general, BroadBand Light provides a variety of benefits to the skin and can not only help significantly reduce unwanted hair, it can also improve the quality of the skin overall. That said, if your goal is to both reduce hair AND improve additional concerns like brown spots, red spots, or acne, we recommend discussing this with your provider. He or she may make recommendations for additional BBL treatments to help accomplish your long-term aesthetic goals.
How often do I need to get hair removal treatments?
Typically a series of 3 to 6 treatments will produce a considerable amount of hair reduction in the treated area. However, the frequency of your treatment will depend on the speed at which your hair grows, in addition to the color and thickness of the hair. Your practitioner will be able to provide you with a comprehensive, custom hair removal plan during an initial consultation.
